New Fish Stock For The Week and New Dry Goods

New Fish Stock For The Week and New Dry Goods

Introduction

New stock has arrived at Pond Life Aquatics & Tropical Fish London, including a great selection of new fish and dry goods. We've got some interesting new arrivals this week that we think you'll want to see, perfect for all types of aquariums. Take a look at some of the highlights.

We cover everything in video format here: RARE Borneo Loaches & Pygmy Corydoras! London Tropical Fish Stock Update | Pond Life Aquatics

But if you prefer to read, here’s a quick breakdown of some of the nicer species we have in. Before we start, we do have all your ‘classic’ fish in too – from neon tetra, rummynose tetra, and Cardinal tetra, to fancy goldfish, plus plenty of bottom feeders and danios. So, this list is just to highlight what’s new and interesting, not everything we have! If you want to check if we have something specific, just email us at info@pondlifeaquatics.co.uk or call us on 02082010770. Or you can drop us a message on Instagram @pondlifeaquatics and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Going continent by continent:

South America:

Guppies: These Red Koi Guppies are real standouts in our new stock. The red and white on these fish is just striking, making them a fantastic choice if you want to add real visual impact to your aquarium.

Sanke Swordtails: If you're after some bold colour, have a look at these Sanke Swordtails. They have big, strong colours and work well in a live bearer or community tank.

Pygmy Corydoras (Corydoras Pygmaeus): You won't see many bottom feeders cuter than Pygmy Corydoras. They look great in a big group in smaller community aquariums.

Similis Corydoras: Also called Smudge spot corydoras or violet corydoras. These Similis Corydoras are just really nice catfish; definitely worth a look.

Apistogramma Vagieta ii: We’ve had a breeding pair of Apistogramma Vagieta ii for a bit now. They've got stunning reds and golds and all the personality you expect from dwarf cichlids.

Long Fin Snow White Ancistrus (London bred): These Long Fin Snow White Ancistrus are bred right here in London, so they're already used to London tap water. A really elegant ancistrus that can add a nice bit of white to a community aquarium.

Asia:

Neon Loach (Pangio Bitaimac): For something a bit different, take a look at the Neon Loach. This is a lovely small loach, similar to khuli loaches in what they need. Definitely not something you see every day.

Various Goby Species: We always try to keep a few interesting goby species in stock. Goby’s are a favourite group of fish here at Pond Life Aquatics, so it's always worth checking what we have in.

Borneo Loaches: We’ve got some really nice Borneo Loaches in their natural colours. Some have blue and red tails. These are always popular and tend to sell quickly, so check in with us to see what stock levels are like right now.

Galaxy Rasbora: Everyone loves Galaxy Rasbora, and we’ve got some good ones in. They have brilliant purple bodies with gold spots, perfect for smaller tanks.

Mosquito Rasbora: If you have smaller aquariums, Mosquito Rasbora are well worth considering. They are small but really pretty.

Siamese Fighting Fish: We think we might have one of the best ranges of Siamese fighting fish in London. We make sure all of ours have good space so they don't get stressed from being in too-small tanks.

Clean up crews: We’ve got loads of different shrimp and snail species in to help keep your aquarium clean and tidy.

Australia:

Forktail Blue-eye Rainbowfish: These Forktail Blue-eye Rainbowfish are definitely striking for a smaller fish. They have bright blue eyes and yellow bodies, making them one of the more eye-catching smaller species you can keep.

Africa

Lamprologus Ocellatus: Lamprologus Ocellatus are really interesting little shell-dwelling species from Lake Tanganyika.

Neolamprologus Daffodil: Neolamprologus Daffodil are dwarf fairy cichlids. They're a maternal mouthbrooding species and have lovely little blue colours. Good if you’re looking for a new breeding project.

Golden Clawed Frogs: Golden Clawed Frogs are a bit different and fun for community aquariums. They've got loads of personality.

Plants

We’ve got a really good selection of plants in at the moment. We’re especially keen on the new Deco range from aquafluer. They do real pottery with nicely grown anubias plants. Search ‘aquafluer’ in the search bar to see all the plants we have from them.

New Dry Goods

We’re excited about the new superfish Biome sets. These are packs with leaf litter, branches, and seed pods from different natural biomes, so you can set up a bit of a natural environment for your fish at home. We’re stocking the betta and African sets right now, and will be getting the full range soon.

Final Words

We hope to see you soon at Pond Life Aquatics. And please get in touch if you have any questions about what’s in stock, or if you want to order anything specific. We’re always happy to help.
