Bacopa Coroliniana is long stemmed aquarium plant and is ideal for midground and background planting. It's lush green colouration turns to an attractive reddish brown when grown under the right condition. When allowed to grow to the surface of your aquarium stems will produce an attractive blue and white flower.

Due to it's easy to propagate nature Bacopa can be cut and planted multiple times to create dense growth and a truly natural look to most aquariums.  Like most stem plants Bacopa should be planted into substrate or gravel in order to grow and thrive. To get the best growth we strongly recommend using a nutrient rich substrate such as TMC Nutrasoil as apposed to a regular aquarium gravel. If you struggle to keep your stem plants from floating up when first planting, consider using a small amount of ISTA Instant Glue on the base of the stem and dipping it in the substrate to create a pseudo anchor that will still allow the plant to effectively take root.

Bacopa is a true tropical plant which means it should be kept between 21°C and 30°C. Bacopa may survive in cooler water but you will struggle to get any significant growth.

Bacopa requires mid-strong lighting and will not do well under weaker lighting conditions.

Like most plants Bacopa will grow best in an aquarium that uses CO2 injection or is treated with a liquid CO2, such as EasyLife EasyCarbo. Bacopa will benefit hugely from fertliser, such as EasyLife Profito, and if you aim to get them to flower on the surface of your tank it is a must.
