Cryptocoryne beckettii

Cryptocoryne beckettii will usually reach between four and six inches tall and grow to a width of between three and six inches making it ideal for use as a mid ground plant or in smaller nano aquariums as a background plant.

Cryptocoryne beckettii has low light and CO2 requirements meaning it will survive in most aquariums. However, if you wish to see truly dense growth from this popular plant then CO2 injection or the use of a liquid CO2 product, such as EasyLife EasyCarbo, will significantly increase growth rate. Fertilization is also strongly recommended, as is the case with most aquariums plants, consider using EasyLife Profito to promote stronger growth. Additionally stronger light will be appreciated by this plant. 

Occasionally when first planting many Cryptocoryn species their leaves may wither and die. If this happens do not throw away the remains of the plant! Cryptocoryne will notoriously bounce back, and many fish keepers have been surprised to find an established route system when going to remove 'dead' plants.
