Maintaining proper water quality is possibly the most important aspect of fishkeeping. API Crystal Aquarium Filtration Media is made up of a unique resin-carbon which is 3x more effective than standard filtration media at removing debris and pollutants from aquarium water. By removing colours, heavy metals and toxic gases API Crystal helps to maintain high quality crystal clear water!

Use this product to clean and clear dissolved organics from your aquarium water, such as colours, odours, and other pollutants. This product fits easily into filters, and is for use in freshwater, saltwater, and reef aquariums. Use when starting or maintaining an aquarium, or if pollutants are detected.

We recommend changing API CRYSTAL BIO-CHEM ZORB filtration cartridges once a month, but if your tank is clear, you can wait longer.

Instructions 

Rinse CRYSTAL under cool tap water to remove loose dust. It does not need to rinse clear. Replace every three weeks or sooner if aquarium is heavily stocked and/or colours or odours are detected.
