The UNIFILTER UV from AQUAEL is ideal for maintaining aquarium water clarity and creating a healthy environment for its inhabitants. Featuring ultraviolet light-emitting diodes, this filter not only efficiently cleans and aerates the water, but also sterilizes it to prevent the growth of algae, protozoa, and bacteria.

Thanks to its double sponge cartridge and removable filter media chamber, this filter can handle even the most demanding conditions. The UV LEDs can be easily switched on and off, while the performance and water outflow direction can be adjusted using the rotor dome and dial.

For quieter operation and enhanced durability, larger models are equipped with a ceramic rotor axis. To ensure constant filtration, the UNIFILTER UV comes with two separate sponge cartridges that can be easily removed and cleaned. This not only maintains water clarity but also protects colonies of nitrifying bacteria necessary for nitrogen processes. For optimal results, it is recommended to clean the sponge cartridges independently of each other on a regular basis.
