Boesemani Rainbowfish are stunning in planted aquariums and should be kept in groups of 6 or more. They prefer alkaline water and a tank at least 4ft long with dense vegetation. Keep them with larger tankmates and provide clean water and secure covers. Juveniles will become colorful adults. Sadly, they are listed as Endangered, but most sold in shops are captive bred. Also known as Boeseman's Rainbowfish.
