Bumble Bee South American Catfish

Tank mates: These peaceful catfish generally get along well with most tank mates.  They thrive in community tanks with other non-aggressive species that won’t compete for food.

Aggression:  They usually show no aggression making them ideal for community tanks with other non-aggressive fish. However they might become reclusive if housed with overly boisterous or aggressive tank mates.

Experience level: Bumble Bee Catfish are suitable for aquarists of all experience levels. They’re relatively hardy and adaptable but still need conscientious tank care.

Water parameters:  To keep them healthy maintain water parameters between pH 6.5-7.5, a temperature of 72-78°F (22-26°C) and moderate water flow.  Adequate filtration and regular water changes are essential for good water quality.
