Cherry Barbs are a schooling fish, and aren’t happy in solitude. So, it is best to keep them in groups of around 5 as a minimum.
They shouldn’t be put into a tank with other aggressive or territorial fish, but are compatible with catfish, corydoras and any other barb varieties.
Origin: Sri Lanka.
Lifespan: 5-6 Years.
