Product Description

Egaria Najas is a perfect beginners plant. Low demanding and fast growing Najas is excellent for low tech aquariums where dense planting is desired on a budget. Najas can grow up to 3ft long and should be cut back regularly to avoid choking out the tank.

Originating in South America, Egeria Najas should be kept between 16-30 degrees centigrade.

Najas requires low to medium lighting to achieve lush growth. From personal experience Najas prefers slightly brighter conditions and leaf density is noticeably effected when kept in lower lights. Like most plants Najas will benefit from liquid fertilization, we recommend EasyLife Profito for lush growth. Additionally Najas will grow much faster in the presence of CO2 injection or the use of a liquid CO2 product such as Flourish Excel.
