Hikari Tropical First Bites is a nutritious fish food specially formulated for the important early developmental stages of fry. Made with freshly harvested ingredients, including premium-selected fish meal, it provides high-quality protein and essential amino acids to support healthy development and encourage proper feeding habits.

Its semi-floating formula allows fry at different levels of the aquarium to access the food while helping reduce water quality issues.

Key Features

  • Specially formulated for young tropical fish fry.
  • Rich in protein and essential amino acids.
  • Semi-floating formula for easy access throughout the aquarium.
  • Balanced nutrition to support early development.
  • Produced and packaged by Hikari to ensure consistent quality.

Feeding Instructions

Feed small amounts as often as possible, providing only what your fish can consume within 2–3 minutes.

  • Avoid overfeeding to help maintain water quality.
  • For mid-water and bottom-feeding fish, soak the food in a cup of aquarium water before feeding to help it sink more quickly.
  • Livebearer fry can eat immediately after birth.
  • For egg-laying fish, begin feeding just before the yolk sac is fully consumed.

Note: Natural ingredients may cause slight colour variations between production batches. Each package meets Hikari’s nutritional quality standards.
