Parambassis ranga or the Indian Glassfish are found in still or sluggish freshwater. They prefer a PH of 6-7 and temperatures of 20-30°C and do well in a peaceful community tank.
Attaining a maximum size of 9.5 cm, these fish thrive on a diet consisting of small live or frozen foods and exhibit enhanced well-being when maintained in groups of five or more.
