The L67 Gold Spot Pseudancistrus Pleco (Pseudancistrus sp.), also known as the Gold Nugget Pleco (though this name is shared with similar species), is a visually striking catfish with a dark body covered in bright yellow or gold spots and vivid edging on its fins. Native to the Rio Xingu in Brazil, it typically grows to about 7 inches and thrives in warm, well-oxygenated water with moderate to strong flow. Semi-territorial but generally peaceful, this pleco prefers rocky hiding spots and benefits from a varied diet that includes algae, veggies, and protein-rich foods.
