Micranthemum Monte Carlo
Micranthemum Monte Carlo
Micranthemum Monte Carlo, a fast-growing foreground plant, thrives under optimal conditions. Comparable to the popular Hemianthus Calitrichoides, its leaves are similar and it carpets well. However, with slightly bigger leaves ranging from 5mm-10mm, it offers a refreshing shade of vibrant green.
This plant is an excellent alternative to HC, requiring less light and considered easier to grow.
To ensure optimal growth, provide adequate levels of CO2.
Micranthemum 'Monte Carlo' originates from Argentina and features compact, round, and bright light green leaves on creeping stalks, creating a quick-growing carpet in the front of the aquarium. While it can tolerate light shade, good lighting and CO2 supplementation are essential for optimal growth and compactness.
