Pogostemon Helferi

Pogostemon Helferi is a versatile foreground plant that can be used for carpeting or placed among other plants. Its crinkled curly green leaves grow from the crown in a star shape. Providing high light, CO2, and nutrients will promote the growth of shoots along the substrate. This plant can also thrive when planted on wood. When planting, divide the pot into 4-5 small portions and plant them 3-4cm apart for a dense carpet effect.

 Alternatively, plant Pogostemon Helferi between rocks or wood for a visually pleasing display. Regularly removing dead or decaying leaves will aid in the plant's growth. While higher light levels promote more compact growth, they are not necessary for the plant's survival.

Under lower light, Pogostemon Helferi will grow taller. If yellow leaves appear, increase the nutrient levels in the water. For healthy growth, CO2 is required under higher lighting.
